Create a rectangle-shaped playing field with the markers. Within the playing area, near one long side of the field, create two mini-goals with two pairs of different color markers (blue and red mini-goals in the picture). The width of the mini-goals is about 2 meters/yards and placed in a horizontal line at a distance of 6-8 meters/7-9 yards from each other. Arrange the players in two rows, on the opposite side of the field from the goals, making up two teams (red and white players in the picture). One row without a ball (whites) and one row in which each player has a ball (reds). Work in pairs. The first two players start (one pair at a time), one player with the ball, the other without it. The player without the ball (white in the picture) stands in front of the opponent at a distance of 3/4 meters, legs apart, facing the goals created with markers.
- At the coach's signal, the player with the ball (red) starts driving the ball and performs a tunnel pass to the opponent (white), passing the ball under the teammate's legs
- After the tunnel the 1 v 1 duel begins, in which the player who has been tunnelled (white) gets possession of the ball and has to drive it as fast as possible outside the playing rectangle
- The attacker (red), must counter the opponent and prevent him from taking the ball out of the perimeter. If they regain possession of the ball they have a chance to score in the two mini-goals by driving the ball through them or simply shooting (conclusion)
- At the end of the action the two players retrieve the ball and return to their starting groups in a row. On the next action they will reverse roles in the exercise
- Free touches available to players
- Vary the composition of working pairs: do not work in fixed pairs
- Use cognitive elements (call out the colors of the two goals to be crossed in ball driving)
- Spread-legged player stands in front, not back to back
- The main technical focus is intensity and complete choice in one-on-one which includes the decision to attack the ball and the choice of technical gesture to feint with change of direction or a shot on goal
- The defender must protect the ball
- Cognitive focus on the speed of choice and execution to go for goal trying to surprise the opponent
