Organization

In a 20x20 meters playing area place the players in couples, one player facing the other, as shown in the picture. Each couple is 20 meters away from another one. Give a ball to a player (A in the picture).

Description

  1. A passes the ball to B
  2. B passes it back to A
  3. A passes the ball to D with a high pass
  4. D stops the ball and passes it to C
  5. C passes it back to D
  6. D passes the ball to A with a high pass

 

At the end of each series swap players' positions.

Variations

  1. Increase or reduce the distance between players
  2. Only first intention passes

Coaching Points

  • Attention to the distance and direction of the support foot from the ball during the passes
  • Players should close the gesture with the leg movement that follows the ball
  • The ankle should stay stiff
