Organization

Arrange 8 white players inside aregulatory half field simulating the 4-3-3 system (2 wingbacks, 3 midfielders and 3 strikers) against 2 red defenders (central). The coach stays near the box verge with a ball in his handsfacing the goal. The goalkeeper defends the goal.

Description

  • action development:
    1. The coach throws the ball toward the central defender
    2. The central defender rejects the bal with a header towards the half field
    3. The central midfielder controls the ball and passes to the left midfielder
    4. The left midfielder passes back the ball to the central midfielder
    5. The central midfielder passes to the right midfielder
    6. The right midfielder passes the ball to the right wingback while the right winger starts a countermove (faking to move toward the depth and moving encountering)
    7. The right wingback controls the ball and passes to the right winger encountering
    8. The winger passes to the right midfielder moving, while the right wingback rins to depth along the sideline
    9. The right midfielder passes the ball to the right wingback running while while the right winger moves to the box with a circular run
    10. The right wingback crosses into the box to the central striker attacking the nearpost
    11. The central striker attempts on goal avoiding the two central defenders

Alternate an action on the right side and one on the left side.

  1. Add two opponents wing back to defend actively or passively

Coaching Points

  • All players have to lose the marker according to the action timings
  • Precision in passing 
  • Require gradually mor precision and speed in technical gestures and movements
  • Exercise useful also during the warmup phase before a match (maximum duration 5 minutes)
