Organization
Arrange, with markers, a square. Split it into 4 sectors all of the same size, thus shaping 4 more squares. Divide the players into 2 teams of 8 players (reds vs whites) + 4 neutral players (with yellow vests). Inside each square a 2 vs 2 is played, while the neutral players place themselves outside each side.
Description
- The game starts when the coach throws a ball inside one of the 4 squares
- Ball possession is played untill the ball gets out of the big square
- If the ball gets out of the square, the coach immediately throws a new ball back in
Rules
- In each of the 4 small squares a 2 vs 2 ball possession challenge is played
- Neutral players move themselves along the external side of the square without entering the square
- Neutral players play together with the team in possession of the ball
- When 8 consecutive passes are achieved, one point is gained
- If the ball possession lasts more than 10 seconds, one point is gained
- If the players get across all 4 small squares passing the ball to each other, 2 points are gained
Variations
- Unlimited number of contacts with the ball
- Limit the number of contacts with the ball to 3 (for all players)
- Sizes of the 4 squares can be increased or decreased
