In an area of about 50x40 meters/55x44 yards, place 3 stakes diagonally to the left and right of the regulatory goal at a distance of about 20 meters/22 yards outside the penalty area (as in the picture). Before each row of stakes place a marker that serves as a starting point for the players. The three stakes in each row are placed about one meter apart. In front of both the left and right posts, approximately at the edge of the area, place one attacker (yellow player in the picture) and one defender (black player in the picture) on each side. In line with these players at both the left vertex of the penalty area and the right vertex, two more yellow players are placed laterally. Thus we have for both stations an initial arrangement that includes three players developing the attacking action (yellow) and one defender (black). A 3v1 situation on the left and a 3v1 situation on the right at the start. The goalkeepers take turns defending the goal every two attacking actions: a sequence with finalization from the right and one with finalization from the left.
- Player A with the ball at the feet performs a run with the ball between the posts, during which the teammate B has time to perform a long-short countermovement to lower to receive the pass
- Once A exits the slalom, B comes towards the ball, at the same time his opponent marks him by performing a pressing from behind
- Player B, after controlling and defending the ball, passes it back to teammate A who has arrived in support in the meantime to give the marked teammate a chance to pass
- Player B, after passing the ball, opens up in a half-moon shape towards the outside of the court (movement from B to B1), at the same time player C makes an opposite movement from the teammate to cut towards the inside of the court (movement from C to C1)
- The defender has to choose whether to follow player B who is moving wide or maintain position to close the vertical passing line for player C's cut
- It will be player A who will decide to whom to pass the ball based also on the defender's choices that will determine the teammate marked or free to receive the ball for the shot on goal (passing solutions - red transmissions a and b in the picture)
- Alternate an action from the left with an action from the right. Also alternate outside players waiting outside the field with inside players on each play. The yellow players rotate in the starting positions clockwise or counterclockwise thus changing with each attacking action the role and tasks to be performed. Alternate the defenders
- Respect the offside rule, with half-moon movements of the attackers and attack of space based on the position of the defending player
- The free player receiving the ball for the shot on goal has a maximum of three touches for the conclusion
- After 2 sets, the left chain players switch positions with the right chain players so that they work on both sides of the field
- Especially in the younger groups, alternate players in all roles, even rotating defenders with forwards, to broaden their technical and cognitive background. With the adults work in the specificity of the roles
- Work with two defenders instead of one: it raises the difficulty for attackers
- Take care of the support foot position of the person passing the ball
- The attacker closer to the position of the ball (B in the picture) commands the movement of the teammate further away (C in the picture)
- The deep through ball should be executed with speed and intensity of kick
- Take care of the attacker's opening movement with correct body posture and running technique
