Starting from the baseline, create a 60×70-meter/66×77-yard field. Place a second goal in the center of the side opposite to the one with the standard goal. Form two teams, one with ten players (blue) and the other with six (orange). The goalkeepers defend the goals. The coach stands outside the field with a good supply of balls.
- The orange team, consisting of six players, begins the exercise in attack and lines up in a 3-3 formation
- The defending black and blue team lines up in a 3-5-2 formation and forms a low block to protect the first third of the field
- When the coach passes the ball to the central midfielder, the other players on the orange team must attack by forming a line of five
- The black and blue team must form a back line of five players (two drop back to the line of three defenders) and a line of three (with at least two below the line of the ball) just ahead. The defenders can follow their opponents, even breaking the back line (3-4) after the defensive stagger has been formed
- When the black and blue team regains possession, the two black and blue forwards are free to receive the ball beyond the halfway line and counterattack without opponents
- When the orange team's center forward receives the ball, the two outside players must move toward the center.
- On the second pass (to the orange center forward), the side midfielders must move wide
- The black-and-blue midfielders on the defending team must move below the line of the ball (at least two of the three) to form a low block together with the defenders
- Work on protecting the first third and the goal area
- Create density in the ball zone
- Players must follow their opponent in a 1v1 duel
