Technical course with a 2 v 1 situation |
Counter move, Oriented control, Losing your marker, Shooting, 2 versus 1 |
Place six markers inside the designated area as shown in the picture. The balls start from the marker where player A is positioned. Player B stands about 10 meters/11 yards away between the two central poles forming a mini goal about 2 meters wide; use the other two poles to form two more mini goals, one to the right and one to the left of the central goal. Place two mannequins near markers D and D1 to make the exercise more realistic. About 10 meters/11 yards away, place four mini goals, two to the right and two to the left of player A. Place two defenders between the two mini goals as shown in the picture.
- At the coach's signal, player A passes the ball to B, who in the meantime makes an unmarking movement with a counter-movement into one of the two side goals.
- With the first touch, player B enters the goal; if he enters the goal on the right, as in the picture, B passes the ball to the players on the left (C and D)
- After performing an oriented control, player B passes the ball to player C, who in turn performs an oriented control in the direction of D
- On C's oriented control, player D makes a counter-movement to get away from the marker and, with an oriented control, avoids him in order to shoot at goal
- On D's control, defender X becomes active and must defend the two mini goals from the attack of C and D. A goal in the mini goal closest to player A is worth 2 points, in the other 1 point
- Change defenders approximately every two minutes
- The exercise is a play and follow with the following rotation: A-B-C-D-A
- Next, player A (who has taken B's place) opens up in the goal opposite the previous one to pass the ball to the other two players (C1 and D1)
- In this case, the defender will be X1
- Perform all types of control always with both feet
- Control the ball with one foot and pass it with the other (use the outside of the foot if necessary)
- Increase the distances
- Player A passes the ball to B, who plays a one-two with A; player A passes the ball back to B, passing it through the central gate, and B plays with C
- Player C, before playing with D, performs a one-two with player B
- Combination of the two previous plays: A passes the ball to B, who plays a one-two with A, who plays the ball to C, who completes the one-two with B
- Player D plays a one-two with player C, who completes the one-two with D
- Instead of changing defenders at set intervals, whoever makes a mistake becomes the defender
- Play a 1 v 1 between D and X
