Organization

Set up a field that is the appropriate size for the age group (7-a-side soccer). Form two teams of seven players each. The goalkeepers take their positions in front of the goals.

Description

A 7v7 game is played with the aim of always initiating play through a build-up phase starting from the goalkeeper

Rules

Whenever the ball goes out of bounds, play is resumed by the opposing team’s goalkeeper with a throw-in from the end line

Variations

The player who kicks the ball out of bounds is responsible for retrieving it and bringing it behind the opposing team’s goalkeeper, who, in the meantime, initiates a new play by capitalizing on a temporary numerical advantage for his team
