Use a space of 40x50 meters/44x54 yards. In the middle of both short sides place a goal. In the middle of the field create two 20x20 meters/22x22 yards squares, as shown in the picture. Inside both squares place 5 white players against 3 red players. Goalkeepers defend the goals. Give a ball to both teams with 5 players.
Description
- On the coach's signal, a 5 v 3 situation starts in both squares
- The team with numerical superiority has to keep the possession of the ball as long as possible
- If the red team recovers the ball, they have to quickly shoot at one of the goals (immediate transition)
- After a shot at goal or when the ball exits the square, the game starts back with the ball to the red team

Variations
- One player from the team with numerical superiority can follow the opponent outside the square to try to stop the shot on goal
Coaching Points
- In order to create mobility, two players that are on the same line should move on the field creating diagonal lines
- Attention to the reaction to a negative transition: when ball possession gets lost, the player closer to the ball should press the opponent while their teammates get closer
- The player who has the ball, after passing it, should keep moving
- Read the opponents' intentions in order to recover the ball quickly
