The exercise takes place within a space of about 30x15 meters/33x16 yards. Near both short sides of the rectangle place three markers 5 meters/yards apart (as shown in the picture). The players are divided into three trios. Players A, D and G start with one ball each.
Description
Below is the development of the exercise:
- A passes the ball diagonally for B's forward movement
- B passes the ball diagonally on the movement of C
- C passes the ball toward the forward movement of A
- A switches play again with a diagonal pass for B's forward movement
- B drives ball to the opposite marker; A and C finish their runs to the markers they find in front of them
- The exercise continues in the same manner, with successive trios (D, E, F and G, H, I) performing the same passes and movements

Coaching Points
- Incite players to maintain high concentration during the exercise to improve technique
- Encourage players to perform the drill at a fast pace
- Speed and quality of ball transmission
- Stimulate the execution of the sequence of passes with correct timing
- Depending on the technical quality of the players, a one-touch drill can be performed
