Place three cones 40 meters/44 yards from the goal line, approximately 15 meters/16 yards apart (two on either side of the goal and one in the center, as shown in the picture). In front of the central cone, 10 meters/11 yards away, towards the goal, place two poles (or a mannequin), simulating the presence of a defender. Place the markers in pairs to the sides of the poles, with the two red markers to the right and the two yellow ones to the left of the posts (arranged diagonally as shown in the figure). The two pairs of markers form two gates approximately 5 meters wide. Divide the players into three groups (A, B, C), with each group positioned at a cone. The ball is given to the players in group A at the central cone. The goalkeeper takes up position in front of the goal. The coach stands between the edge of the penalty area and the poles.
- The exercise begins from the central cone, with the player from group A dribbling the ball towards the two poles in front of them
- When the player reaches the two poles, which simulate defenders, the coach indicates the color of the markers towards which the player should pass; the player feints, moving in the indicated direction
- A passes the ball to the teammate as they move, passing the ball between the markers indicated by the coach
- The receiving player (in the example, B, who is running into the left side of the field) controls the ball toward the goal and approaches the penalty area, while the player from group C on the opposite side continues running toward the penalty area
- B, near the penalty area, must finish the action with a shot on goal
- C continues running into the penalty area to shoot at the goal if the goalkeeper blocks the shot
- Once the action is over, the players rotate their starting positions, lining up to wait for their turn (A moves to B, B moves to C, and C moves to A)

- The shot must be made through the mini-goal indicated by the coach; this means that both side players must move into position to support a possible finish
- The coach uses visual commands to indicate the color of the markers to pass to (for example, indicating the color with a red or yellow marker)
- The cognitive aspect helps players react to the given stimulus (quick reaction and adaptation)
- Encourage players to use different high-speed dribbling techniques
- Focus on the quality of through balls (finishing) to teammates making insertions
- Focus on the timing of runs into the penalty area and attacks for finishing
