Use the markers to create four mini squares measuring approximately 1.5 meters on each side, placed at the corners of a larger 10x10-meter/11x11-yard square to form a single workstation. Each mini square will be about 7-8 meters/8-9 yards apart from the other. The four goalkeepers position themselves inside the mini squares at the corners. Two of them with the ball, the other two without. Keep spare balls near the workstation, close to each goalkeeper.
- Goalkeepers work in pairs, initially with the teammate opposite to them (P1 with P2 and P with P3 as shown in the picture)
- They pass the ball with one foot, keeping it low to the ground, with two touches (preferably with the inside of the foot)
- The ball should be passed alternately with the right foot and then with the left foot, using the inside of the foot and controlling the force and precision of the kick
- The ball is received alternately with both feet and in various ways (inside of the foot, sole of the foot, etc.)
- The reception must be performed within the mini square in which each goalkeeper is positioned
- After the first series, the goalkeepers begin working together in the second series with two balls at the same time, meaning that each goalkeeper will no longer work only with the teammate in front of them but also with the other teammate to the side (for example, P1 will work simultaneously with P and P2)
- Each goalkeeper will then alternate between receiving and passing balls coming from the right and left, forcing them to rotate their torso and the position of their supporting foot depending on the direction of the kick
- The pass, with the same progression of work, is done manually with a manual pass from below by rolling the ball
- The pass, with the same progression of work, is done manually with a manual pass from above (swinging the arm with care to use the high arc ball throwing technique). The ball can be caught after it bounces on the ground or with a direct catch
- The manual pass can also be made diagonally to the goalkeeper positioned in the mini-square at the opposite corner of the workstation. In this case, communication between the goalkeepers is important to avoid both balls being passed to the same goalkeeper at the same time. In this variation, we also train distributed and selective focus and peripheral vision
- Focus on the accuracy of passing the ball with the feet and body posture when receiving
- Take care of the technique of passing the ball by rolling it on the ground and with a high trajectory
- Focus on the technique of catching and the position of the body and feet when approaching the ball (ball attack)
