Organization
Create a playing area consisting of four squares (rondos) measuring 10-12×10-12 meters/11-13 yards, spaced apart from each other. On three of the four squares, play a 4v2 rondo.
Description
Three 4 v 2 rounds are played simultaneously.
Rules
- There is one rule in each of the four courts:
- Court 1: one-touch rule
- Court 2: two-touch rule (not more, not less)
- Court 3: alternate one and two touches (For example, if I play a two-touch pass, my teammate will have to play a one-touch pass)
- Court 4: free ball touches
- Defenders score a point and become ball possessors when:
- They intercept the ball and guide it outside the square
- They exchange the ball between them at least once
- They make a pass outside the square to the teammate who comes out and controls the ball
- Goalkeepers play with their feet or even with their hands when collecting and passing the ball. When defending, they first intercept with their feet, then also with their hands when catching or diving
- At the coach's signal, players move clockwise to another square and resume with the new rules
Coaching Points
- Encourage players to adopt the correct posture to ensure continuity of play
- Encourage players to pass correctly to their teammate's free foot
- Encourage effective communication to ensure continuity of play
- Focus on quickly changing the phase of play from possession to non-possession
